10 month impasse broken

After 10 months of intense consultation between my wife and I regarding the development of a 5 year plan for our lives we had made no progress. So gentle in giving corrections that inspire me, and keep my motivation burning

Encouraged me in the things I was good at

Susan had a positive twist on all her feedback, and encouraged me in the things I was good at. If there was something I needed to work on she would give me an example of a correct way to do it. She made it clear that there wasn’t one set way of doing things, but that creativity and new research is always a part teaching. She helped me gain confidence in my abilities. A profile of an ideal teacher

For so many years I’ve spent as a student from elementary level until post-graduate studies, only this time I was able to construct a profile of an ideal teacher. Yes, I already had some preconceptions about what I mean, but now, a teacher really stands out in my mind as “being” particularly influential on my understanding, skills and appreciation, not only in learning but in various aspects of life. She really influenced my views of what makes an ideal teacher. Please allow me to reflect on these positive experiences I had with her:

She taught me how to accept mistake with humbleness of heart and sprit and learn from it. This I consider the topmost, precious wisdom I learned from her. She always inspires me with high expectations. She demonstrated caring and warm attitudes in her comments and messages, I could even feel a “motherly love and instinct” in her! Her way of teaching me focused on my needs, most of the time. She’s very enthusiastic, highly flexible and imaginative in her instruction. She gave me high levels of personal comfort like those moments I shared about attending to my son who was ill, somebody close to me had passed away etc. She really empowered me with her positive attitudes toward learning and of life. Her intelligence, competencies with affective considerations fro her students made me conclude she’s my ideal teacher, thus I could say she’s one of the grate gifts I received from God! And she’s no other than . . . you my dearest tutor Susan!
